We have detailed, written instruction in form of SOPs to achieve uniformity in performance of specific functions. All our processes have been well documented and the same has been enforced on all of SyMetric employees and Partners to ensure the highest standards are met.

SyMetric made a conscious decision not to include IVR feature in SyMetric C6 and BIO. With more and more users going online with improved connectivity (due to fail proof 24/7 internet connectivity and increased bandwidth offerings), IVR is less frequently used by customers. At the same time Customers pay extra hidden costs for this IVR feature irrespective of the extent of usage.

However, we recognize the need for support for remote possibility of IWRS system not available due to connectivity issues at the site. Hence we offer the following options to our Customers in place of the IVR feature.

Solution 1: CROs are very closely connected with the sites and they have 24/7 operation by virtue of their business and they are accessible to the sites during Site’s usiness hours. We wanted to capitalize on this aspect, by providing a separate access to a pre-identified CRO Project Manager or Site Agent with an option to carryout critical transactions on behalf of Site Users. These users will have additional login facilities besides their normal login so that one can assign accountability to all these transactions. Normally, 21 CFR part 11 guidelines do not recommend the IWRS vendor to carry out the transactions.

Solution 2: Alternatively, we can provide the contact details of the Unblinded user (identified in the beginning of the study) from SyMetric, in case of above system non availability issues. Site users can call these numbers with required help for pre-agreed critical transaction support like Randomization, Unblinding etc. SyMetric user will log into the system and carryout the transaction on behalf of the site users. However, all such requests should have a written consent of Site Users as well as Sponsor Project Manager to carry-out the transactions.

SyMetric is offered in SaaS Model to the clients. All our applications are hosted on our own servers. You do not have to invest for any infrastructure. All you need is a device with access to the internet.
SyMetric C6 and BIO have a universal notification Centre. Notification are sent to the pre-configured users for all the critical transactions performed on the system.

SyMetric follows a very simple approach to the user interface. All the transactions have been designed in a way, which is easy to understand and use. Relevant context sensitive help content is also provided for all the transactions with in the portal.

If more help and training is required on how to use the system, we can deploy a team of support professionals to the client locations with an additional cost.

All our servers are automatically backed up to a redundant server. In case of a system failure, we can easily restore the data and applications from the redundant server.

Our development team makes use of new capabilities available in modern, up-to- date browsers. SyMetric C6 and SyMetric BIO are compatible on almost all the latest version of the browsers including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari both on PCs and Mobile Browsers (Limited Capabilities)
